$200,000 Grant for Ohio Nonprofits

36 local Ohio organizations were awarded $200,000 in grants ranging from $2,000 to $12,000 given by the Welty Family Foundation in its final allocations for 2011.

Areas addressed are education, health, youth programs and for community enhancement and human services. Battered Women's Shelter received the highest grant of $12,000 for operating expenses.
