Center for Investigative Reporting Receives Grant from MacArthur Foundation

The Berkeley-based Center for Investigative Reporting is the recipient of the MacArthur Foundation's 2012 Creative and Effective Institutions grant.

According to the center's Executive Director Robert Rosenthal, the $1 million grant will be used for new programs focusing on videos and breaking down data to make it more accessible to the public.
