Sarah Pinkerton, a sixth-grader at Emerson Middle School teamed up with Boyce Family Eye Care to collect unwanted eyeglasses for use in countries where poverty often prevents people from receiving regular eye care.
Pinkerton says she is not doing this for any school project rather to help patients in Haiti and Guatemala and provide life-changing care for the underdeveloped communities.
