Diane Bell of UT San Diego relates that The Chronicle of Philanthropy has recently named the late Margaret A. Cargill, heir of the Midwest agribusiness empire Cargill Corp., as the No. 1 on the list of America's top 50 donors in 2011.
Cargill reported gave a whopping amount of $6 billion to her a few of her favorite causes before her unfortunate demise in the year 2006.
