Sri Lanka has always been a large part to Indira's life. A place where she felt most comfortable and a place where she envisioned the rest of her life. Growing up with numerous challenges including her parents separating encouraged herself to stay stay confident. Indira later became the founder of a NGO Sahana Sri Lanka. The company was based around helping families after the tsunami.
Indira found herself working with this NGO for years and eventually found herself writing a book about her experiences. She believes the book will be published at the beginning of 2018 and will include information about her inspiration toward entrepreneurs and the ability for everyone to set goals. She believes that she will spend most of her time in Sri Lanaka continuing to help families and continuing to be inspirational.
