Mellon Foundation Awards Three-Year Grant

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded the Long Beach Opera a $300,000 three-year grant.

The grant will support the oper'as new Outer Limits series, a project that is designed to expand the boundaries of the opera form.

The foundation provides multi-year grants to organizations that support art on an invitation-only basis to small number of leading US orchestras, theater, opera, and modern dance companies.
