Is Democracy Funding Undemocratic? Funding Civic Engagement in an Era of Protest

Some civilians are starting to think that democracy funding is undemocratic. Young people from underrepresented communities are getting introduced to the policy- making process. It has been difficult to get messages to the underrepresented.

The reasons for the lack of sense of civic responsibility has been misunderstood. It seems that moneyed interest has outweighed the need to educate people on the matter. Which is why certain groups and strategies get funded.

The political inequality among underrepresented communities is the result of racial hierarchy. This is because less fortunate people don't think they have power.

Democracy is something that has to constantly be worked on to make it successful. Ordinary people of minimal wealth is what a democracy needs to be successful. All people are needed in a democracy whether people know it or not.
