Powerful Themes Converge At SXSW: Inclusive Entrepreneurship And Impact Investing

The SXSW convention has recently began bringing people together who have an interest in both investing and in making a positive impact, a new process which is known as impact investing. The biggest themes at this year’s SWSW included how to be an inclusive entrepreneur and also how to do that through successful impact investing. The goal is not only to create lasting social and environmental impacts, but also to motivate a new generation of investors to keep up the trend and make impact investing a lasting and successful business strategy.

Since entrepreneurs by nature solve issues, the idea is to link entrepreneurs to solving problems that they have the most personal experience with, which adds a layer of familiarity and interest in a solution that may be lacking elsewhere. By allowing entrepreneurs an easy way to be personally invested in a solution, the chances of success are higher.
