Grant allows expansion of addiction treatment, prevention for youth

$100,000 has just been given to a youth treatment center. If you know anything about the funding at these types of facilities then you know that it is usually scarce. Read this article about how this money can improve the much needed treatment of the kids involved. There is usually around 4,000 of them and they have been waiting a long time for the support they need.

Specifically, it is a Brien Center program and the staff includes therapists, and licensed counselors specializing and addiction and youth. The Brien Center believes that this new money, called the Crane Foundation Grant, can be allocated not only into the current operations, but also in new preventative ways that before they could not afford to launch into action.
