On March 5, 2016 WANDA (Women Advancing Nutrition Dietetics and Agriculture) hosted an event to enable women, and especially young women, to take up active roles in areas of commerce such as Nurtrition, Dietetics, and Agriculture. Beyonce has some association with WANDA, and the event featured distinguished guest speakers.

Among these women were: Rahama Wright, who is a social entrepenuer Yeleen International. She has also been an advisor to President Obama. Julian Kiganda who founded a corporation called Bold And Fearless, Deshuna Moore Spencer who founded KweliTV, and an iconic voice for diversity Mukami Kinoti Kimotho.

This event was historical landmark for progressing the cause of equality and diversity, a once in a lifetime opportunity to be on the cutting edge of social justice.
