ASU Partners with Cisco to Empower Minority Youth to Become Entrepreneurs

Arizona State University and Cisco have partnered to increase entrepreneurial opportunities to minority youth through education in software skills. High school, and community college students are being encouraged to learn development skills that can bolster their ability to solve problems in their communities.

This same partnership is reaching out to educators. The goal is to educate children from a younger age about the skills they can use to climb professional ladders and make changes in the world for the better.

The partnership is also donating 100,000 dollars over three years to encourage young minorities to develop skills that will aid them in technological entrepreneurial pursuits. Partnerships like this are sterling examples of how to effect chance in the world.
