It's not too late for for nonprofits to register for Fairfield County's Giving Day Event. The purpose of the event is so the county can showcase all of the different charities that people can "give where you live".

Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to sign up to raise awareness and secure donations for their charities.
Over one million dollars was raised at the previous year's event in just twenty four hours.

Nearly four hundred nonprofit organizations have registered for this year's Giving Day event. Training is also provided so these organizations can maximize their donations.

They were able to get sponsors such as Whole Foods and partner with Bank of America in hopes of raising over a million dollars again this year.
